Funnel 10X has completed a strategic investment in Piko, a Portuguese startup on a mission to modernize access to healthcare by making it more convenient and prevention-focused. Piko is building a next-generation digital clinic, powered by an app that centralizes users’ full medical history and clinical data.
The vision is to create an ecosystem where every healthcare service is personalized based on each person’s real profile, while also integrating healthcare professionals into the platform. This model aligns with a trend already validated in the United States, where demand for preventive healthcare, quality of life, and longevity is reshaping how people manage their health.

At this stage, Piko is already running a medically supervised weight-loss program, featuring video-based clinical follow-up, personalized coaching, and access to a supportive community.
In the second half of 2026, the company plans to expand its offering with advanced lab testing, covering over 100 biomarkers related to cardiovascular, hormonal, and metabolic health, while also beginning expansion into other European markets.
A Team With a Proven Track Record
The project is led by Eduardo Alves as CEO and Gustavo Maurício as CTO, two complementary profiles combining proven entrepreneurial experience with strong technical execution.
Eduardo Alves brings an entrepreneurial track record defined by tangible results in the technology sector. He has built multiple successful startups in Fintech and Social Networks (two of which surpassed €1M in annual revenue), as well as an exit to one of the major players in the blockchain market. This history of building, scaling, and exiting is what Eduardo brings to Piko, now with greater maturity and ambition.
Gustavo Maurício leads Piko’s technology function. With extensive experience in software and application development, he is responsible for translating the product vision into a robust and scalable technical architecture. His role will be decisive in the platform’s continuous evolution, ensuring the reliability required to support the growth ahead.

Pedro Farinha, CEO of Funnel 10X, will take an active and direct role in the project, assuming marketing responsibilities equivalent to a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). His involvement goes beyond that of an investor. Pedro will bring Funnel 10X’s expertise in marketing strategy and customer acquisition systems, critical capabilities for scaling a digital health platform in an increasingly competitive market.
